I appreciate the strong feelings many people have on this issue and I share your concern for ensuring the welfare of animals.
I have always said that, if and when a free vote on appealing the Hunting Act occurs in Parliament, I will read the legislation, listen to the full debate, weigh up the arguments and make a decision, taking into account the opinions of my constituents. I collate together all arguments and opinions received on the Hunting Act which I will review before making my final decision. Rest assured, I have added yours to this.
This election is about deciding who we want to lead our country through one of the hardest periods in history, the negotiation of our exit from the European Union. I believe that Theresa May provides the leadership we need at this time and if re-elected, I will work hard to ensure we get the best possible deal for Bath and the UK.
