The Council’s Cabinet last week approved the budget which included an allocation of £57k towards the gull strategy. This means that we can repeat our successful gull treatment programme this year. Expressions of interest for treatments will begin to be taken in early March and details will be provided on our webpage.

There has been great progress made by the council to deal with the issues created by seagulls in Bath, specifically focusing on reducing the spread of waste though damage to bags of waste. The introduction of gull-proof sacks in areas of Bath marks the start of key efforts to address this problem.
