Boost Bath's Talent - ensure excellent local education and encourage more young people and skilled inidividuals to stay in Bath.

Ben has done a great deal in all of Bath's education sectors, with primary schools, secondary schools and further and higher education. 

Ben has firsthand experience of the education sector, serving as a Governor of Bath Studio School.

He was delighted to hear the announcement of new primary school for Bath and the continued success of apprenticeships in the city.

He has also supported the work of Bath's two excellent universities, including backing research programmes and extending access for highly-qualified international students.

As part of his work on the Women and Equalities Select Committee, Ben has also champion increasing diversity in STEM subjects

Ben wants to ensure all children in Bath get the same opportunities as everyone else, launching his campaign Action Against Child Poverty.

Ben also plays an active role in boosting Bath Talent himself, offering his own work experience programme for Bath students. 

Ben is passionate about apprenticeships, pushing the government for increased accessibility for young people to get onto schemes and take advantage of all the opportunities that are available to them.
